About Louisville Behavioral Health Systems
We are a physician-led behavioral health practice on Newburg Road in Louisville, Kentucky, and we have been treating patients here for more than twenty-five years.
Eleven clinicians — psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers — under one roof, so the person managing your medication and the person doing therapy with you are colleagues rather than strangers. Our psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and therapists provide care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Why we exist
Most people who call us have already tried something. A medication that helped for a while and then did not. A therapist who was a good person but not the right fit. A primary care doctor doing their best outside their specialty. The gap we fill is continuity: one practice that keeps track of what has been tried, what happened, and what to try next.
What "Get Back to Living Well" means
It is not about being symptom-free forever. It is about getting enough room back to make your own decisions again — to work, to sleep, to be present with the people you love. That is the outcome we measure ourselves against.

Physician-led
The practice is run by psychiatrists, and clinical decisions are made by clinicians. That has been true since 2000 and it is not changing.
One team, one plan
Medication care, therapy and TMS all happen in this building. Your clinicians share notes instead of guessing what the other one did.

The story behind the petal mark
The refresh started with the people this practice serves. The designer immersed himself in its story — where it has been, who it helps, and what it believes. He spent time with the emotions that touch every life at some point: PTSD, depression, anxiety, fear, loneliness, pressure, the feeling of being lost. Each one is a moment on someone's path, not the end of it.
The mission behind the mark is the mission of the practice: helping every person move forward one step and one day at a time. Life brings highs and lows, but there is always light — always a rainbow beyond the storm.

The inspiration came from nature — walking through a field of flowers, surrounded by vibrant colour that calms the mind and restores the spirit. That sense of renewal became the foundation of the design.
The multicoloured spheres stand for healing, growth, new beginnings, joy and progress. Their arrangement mirrors the shape of the brain — a reminder that our minds, like our lives, sometimes need guidance and a path toward clarity. The varied colours in the lettering reflect something quieter: a fresh start, each day.
