Our Rebranding Story.
When Louisville Behavioral Health Services began the journey of refreshing our brand, we started where we always do—with the people we serve. Every step of the process was rooted in understanding the experiences, challenges, and hopes of those who walk through our doors.
Our graphic designer began by immersing himself in our story—where we’ve been, who we help, and what we believe in—because knowing our past is essential to shaping our future. He explored the broad spectrum of emotions that touch every life: PTSD, depression, anxiety, fear, loneliness, pressure, feeling lost, and many more. Each represents a moment on a person’s path, and each is part of the human experience we strive to support.
With those emotional journeys in mind, he turned to the heart of LBHS: our mission to help every client move forward, one step and one day at a time. Life brings highs and lows, but we believe there is always light—always a rainbow—beyond the storm.
To capture that hope, he drew inspiration from nature’s quiet beauty. Imagine walking through a field of flowers, surrounded by vibrant colors that calm the mind and restore the spirit. That sense of renewal became the foundation of the design.
The multicolored spheres in the logo symbolize healing, growth, new beginnings, joy, and progress. Their arrangement mirrors the shape of the brain, reminding us that our minds—like our lives—sometimes need guidance, support, and a path toward clarity.
The varied colors in the lettering reflect a fresh start each day, representing the many ways our journeys can change and brighten over time.
This design was chosen because it embodies the people we care for, the paths they walk, and the hope that guides each step. More than a logo, it is a reflection of our commitment to you.
We hope it reminds you that we see your strength, believe in your progress to “Feel the Freedom”, and are here to support you—today and every day.
